Zeng was one of 1000 martial arts teachers in China who 1984 were selected because of their detailed knowledge to rebuild the martial arts knowledge at the universities and schools of China. Out of these 1000, 100 were selected for a martial arts convention in Beijing and Zeng was one of these 100.
